A border tape has a hole in the middle: the sensor remains exposed while the design frames it. Suitable, for example, for the Freestyle Libre 3. The perfect complement is Libre 3 Sticker: the design in the middle, with the border tape framing it. Diabetes technology in the middle, your design around it: that’s how the ring tape works. It also doubles as fashion tape: slipping bra straps or heels stay in place. The border tapes are tailored to the Freestyle Libre 3 and the Libre 3 Plus.

Dimensions and application of the ring tapes
The tape has an inner diameter of approximately 1.7 cm and is designed to visually conceal and decorate round, self-adhesive objects such as Freestyle Libre 3 glucose sensors: it turns the sensor into a real eye-catcher. You can also use it to keep slipping clothing, such as bra straps, or shoes at the heel in place.
Material properties
All Zuckerschmuck Tapes are waterproof, super flexible and breathable, gentle on the skin, and hypoallergenic. The sensitive acrylic adhesive is zinc-free and latex-free and does not contain the additive IBOA (isobornyl acrylate). A tape can be applied in just a few seconds.
Easy application with the TapeGuard
If you want to apply your jewelry tape in ring form by yourself, without help from someone else, even on difficult areas such as the back of the upper arm, we recommend the permanently reusable TapeGuard applicator: simply apply the tape to the plastic ring and then place the TapeGuard with the border tape applied over the sensor. Does the sensor need the tape to stay in place? No. According to their manufacturers, glucose sensors, catheters, and patch pumps do not require additional fixation. Our tapes are decorative and not fixation plasters: they give the device a design, not additional hold.
What are the tapes made of? Flexible textile material that is breathable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic, without latex, zinc, nickel, or IBOA (an allergy-causing adhesive).
What diameter do the ring tapes have? The inner diameter is approximately 1.7 cm.
