The decorative ring-shaped tape has an outer diameter of approx. 5cm and an inner diameter of approx. 2.7cm.

It is used to aesthetically conceal and decorate round, self-adhesive objects such as Freestyle Libre 1 and 2 glucose sensors, Iport, Dexcom G7, and detachable insulin pump infusion sets.

It also prevents clothing from slipping, e.g., bra straps or slipping shoes (applied to the heel).

All our CGM tapes are waterproof, anti-allergenic, and breathable.

Material properties of all Zuckerschmuck® tapes:

  • waterproof
  • super flexible and breathable
  • skin-friendly with anti-allergenic properties
  • zinc and latex-free
  • without IBOA

If you want to apply your decorative ring-shaped tape by yourself without external help to difficult body areas, such as the back of the upper arm, we recommend our permanently reusable TapeGuard aid.

Application: If you use the TapeGuard, you simply apply the tape to the plastic ring and then place the TapeGuard with the border tape over the sensor.

A matching motif sticker for the inner cut-out of the ring tape, such as Freestyle Libre 1 and 2, can be found here: Stickers

It is compatible in size with most insulin pump catheter infusion sets and serves to conceal the following infusion sets:

  • Ypsopump: Orbitmicro and Orbitsoft
  • Minimed Quick-Set
  • Minimed Sure-T
  • Accu-Chek Tender Link
  • Accu-Chek Rapid-D Link

Tips for sensitive and allergy-prone skin:

Do you have sensitive skin and quickly get red spots from plasters and sensor adhesives, and are you prone to contact allergies? Our skin protection products can help you! We also offer gentle plaster adhesive removers for adhesive residues from plasters, CGMS sensors, and insulin pump catheters. We have summarized everything about skin protection and skin care products for diabetes in our blog post "Help with skin irritations from sensors and insulin pump catheters".

Note: This product is purely decorative. It has no medical purpose and is not a medical device within the meaning of the Medical Devices Regulation. Please also note that glucose sensors, catheters, or patch pumps do not require additional fixation, such as fixation plasters, fixation tapes, or sensor holders, according to the respective manufacturers' specifications.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering

FAQ FAQ

Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.

Tips for border tapes with holes:

FAQ FAQ

We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?

FAQ FAQ

You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
