The oval SCHMUCK Tape with cutout in Transparent decorates self-adhesive items such as your Dexcom G7 sensor with a subtle, protective look. Like all Zuckerschmuck Dexcom G7 Tapes, it is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and breathable. It also helps prevent clothing from slipping, such as bra straps, or shoes from slipping when applied to the ball of the foot.

If you want to apply your SCHMUCK Tape without help to difficult areas of the body, such as the back of your upper arm, we recommend the permanently reusable TapeGuard applicator for Dexcom G7: Apply the tape to its plastic ring and then place the TapeGuard with the tape applied over the sensor. You can find a matching design sticker for the inner cutout of the tape among the Dexcom G7 stickers.

Can I change the tape while the sensor is still in use?
Yes. Press the sensor firmly onto the skin from above and carefully loosen the tape around the outside. Then pull part of the tape away from the sensor until an uncovered area becomes visible, hold the sensor firmly there, and remove the remaining tape.

Is the tape waterproof?
Yes. It is waterproof, hypoallergenic, and breathable.
Is the tape available with a hole?
Yes. This tape has a cutout that leaves the sensor exposed.
Are Dexcom G7 waterproof patches or Dexcom G7 adhesive patches the same as this tape?
No. The transparent tape with cutout is intended for decoration and concealment. It is waterproof and breathable; additional medical fixation is not its intended use.
Is the tape watertight?
For this transparent decorative tape, the material is specified as waterproof. Watertightness beyond that is not guaranteed; the manufacturer does not claim that this tape is “Dexcom G7 watertight.” The transparent tape leaves the sensor visible.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
