This round beige overpatch is an accessory for CGM sensors such as Freestyle Libre and Dexcom G7. The value pack 10+1 free, meaning 10 pieces plus 1 free, has a pleasantly smooth surface with a diameter of approx. 6 cm. Also suitable for the Freestyle Libre 3 Plus.

Everyday use
The subtle beige color is especially suitable for everyday use when you want the overpatch to remain as inconspicuous as possible. For easy changes during the wear time of your Libre or Dexcom sensor without tearing it off, we recommend the permanently reusable TapeCover for Freestyle Libre 2, Freestyle Libre 3 and Dexcom G7. The tape also decorates the skin, conceals distracting tattoos and protects sensitive gadgets such as piercings from being pulled off.

Is the overpatch a Freestyle Libre patch or a medical fixation patch?
No. This overpatch is intended solely for appearance, is not a patch in the medical sense and does not replace a medical fixation patch. Please also see the note at the end of this description.

Tips for overpatches/tapes for covering
Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.
Tips for border tapes with holes:
We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
Hält so ca. eine Woche. Es ist sehr unauffällig, was mir besonders gefällt. Hat aber einen stolzen Preis.
Wir nutzen die Overpatches für Libre 3 Sensoren von Zuckerschmuck seit Jahren und sind damit sehr zufrieden. Lediglich bei der letzten Lieferung schien uns die Wasserfestigkeit der Overpatches (mit geteiltem Trägerpapier) etwas geringer zu sein, sonst hätten wir 5 Sterne vergeben. Alles in allem dennoch zu empfehlen.

Die Patches schützen optimal den Sensor ohne seine Funktionalität zu beeinträchtigen und in dem hautfarbenen Design fallen sie kaum auf.
Wir werden sie gerne weiterhin bestellen und für den Sommer dann mal auch andere Motive, die dann ruhig auffälliger sein dürfen.
