The FRÍO ® double cooler bag is specially designed to protect insulin and medications against high temperatures.

Frio cooling bags keep insulin, pens and insulin pumps nice and cool in hot weather. Insulin is cooled to a temperature between 18° and 26° for up to 45 hours at an outside temperature of 38°C. At an outside temperature of up to 30°C, even up to 28 days!
Application
The travel cooler bag is immersed in cool water for about 10 minutes. During this process, the cooling crystals inside turn into a gel. After the cooling crystals have been activated, the inner bag has a height of 3-4 cm and feels moist. The insulin, insulin pens or other medication can be stowed away and packed in the outer bag.
If you use the bag regularly, immerse it in water again for 3-5 minutes, especially when you feel the crystals.
How FRÍO® Crystal Cooling technology works
This bag contains the patented FRÍO® Crystal Pooling technology, effective through an evaporation system. Crystals inside the bag turn into a cooling gel when combined with cold water. The medication inside is kept cool for a long time. Completely without extra cooling elements, electricity or other cooling systems.
FRIO guarantees the effectiveness of the crystals for 1 year, many customers use the Frio for longer.
For optimal performance, we recommend that you replace your FRÍO INSULIN TRAVEL BAG every two years.

- Alternatively, the bag also offers storage space for medications for anaphylaxis, rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease (1 EpiPen or 1 Enbrel® pen)

Cleaning the FRÍO cooler bag
The outer pocket can be cleaned by hand or in the washing machine at 30°C using phosphate-free soap.
