The 5x Design Tape + Sticker “Kids” for Omnipod 5 + DASH is specially designed for kids and conceals the Pod with the matching cutout Sticker in the same design. Like all Zuckerschmuck Tapes, it is waterproof, hypoallergenic and breathable.

Everyday use
The Pod is well protected while swimming and playing. For this, the insulin pump case for swimming, bathing & sports is ideal. For sensitive kids’ skin, the Esenta skin protection spray can also help around the adhesive site. The Tape is also useful for preventing bra straps or shoes from slipping when applied to the ball of the foot.
Changing preferences are no problem: You can replace the Kids Sticker in the cutout with a new design as often as you like; the Tape itself remains unaffected.

The TapeGuard applicator is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits precisely around the Pod, allowing the Tape and TapeGuard to be applied even without assistance.

Is the Tape a waterproof Omnipod 5 patch?
Waterproof, yes, as well as hypoallergenic and breathable. It is not a patch in the medical sense, but an accessory for the Pod.

Sticking on and changing the tapes is even easier with our TapeCover protective cap: this permanently reusable plastic part is stuck between the tape and the sensor and ensures that you can easily remove the tape during operation and stick on a new tape.

We have developed our adhesive aid TapeGuard for tapes with a hole: TapeGuard is a small, flexible plastic frame that fits exactly around your sensor and onto which the tape is stuck. Tape and TapeGuard can then be easily stuck on even in difficult areas of the body without any outside help. Can I change the tapes while the sensor/pod is running?
You can easily remove or replace the tape at any time while the sensor/pod is in use: Press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin from above and carefully peel the tape around the outside from the skin. While you continue to press the sensor/pod firmly onto the skin with one finger, first pull part of the tape away from the sensor/pod until a sufficiently large area of the sensor/pod without any tape is visible. Press this area of the sensor/pod without any tape with your finger and peel off the rest of the tape.
